9th January
Had an early celebration on the 9thJanuary with Ling. Her's is on the 10th while mine's on the 18th.
So we decided to have a birthday celebration, just the two of us.

And the post-dinner effect was devastating.
The two of us couldn't walk and regretted having that meal. It was really petrifying.
We had to sit at starbucks, without drinks of course, and sat there for an hour before taking off again.
And then we took a boat at the merlion's and off to Clarke Quay.
Went to ATTICA for a drink.
We had our favourite Baileys.
And we bought ourselves each a really pretty cupcake.
Her's was vanilla.
And mine was carrot cake.
Cute right, the carrot.
I did not taste it in the end though )):
Left it in someone's bag. (who else, LOL)
And someone's sister ate it up and there goes my bdae wish.
Oh well, i still have more cakes to come xDDD)
And then we went on to TCC.
16th January
This is the first time I tried Marche. At vivo city.

OMGGGGGGGGG. I THINK I AM SO LUCKY TO HAVE ALL THESE FRIENDS.
I LOVE THEM SO MUCH!!
alright that fateful day.....
Cherie Lian called and message me asking when I will be leaving house.
So i was like late, really late, u see.
And there wasn't any penalty since, it's my birthday.
HELLO, i was the princess that day.
So cherie Lian was like... whoa, nice and all.
Instead of shouting and wearing a black face, she was calm and
nice. That was like RIDICULOUS.
cos it's not her. Anyway, i was asking so where are the rest since they should be there already.
And she was like.. its a long story. Yeah. So she keeps avoiding my question and went toilet
and finally, she say.. Actually the rest are here already.
She pass me this treasure hunt map.
Cool.
And she lied saying she drew this map. But i was having my suspicion since her drawing just didn't seem that nice. And the style of drawing was just so familar but i couldn't think of the person who drew that.
okie so there are places like 813 coffeeshop.LOL. Timbre cafe. Grand Fullerton. Indochine. Minds cafe and ETC.
so the game rules is to find the place where the rest are at right that moment. She was my guide and she wouldn't tell me much even if i had walk to the wrong place. She said i had to ask the reception for a booking under Ashlyn. HAHAHA. that was yuting's eng name. And yuting even msg me saying she can't meet me that day cos something crop up last minute. I am not dumb OKIE. so i asked isn't that yuting.
Cherie lian thought i was born yesterday. She twisted the pronounciation and said it's not her.
She just can't lie with that face of her's and her crappy twist.
But i played along, since i wanna have the fun of it.
HAHAHA.
And i guessed Minds cafe, accordingly to the budget of my buddies. And the stuff they do.
Sure enough, i went to the reception and was led up to the second floor.
And i found them.
They were playing board games and all so i joined in.

After playing awhile, suddenly one of the staff came up to our table with a HUGEEEEEEEEEEE
HOLY COW balloon, SunFlower and a Gold party Hat.
It was for me. AHHHHHHHHHH..
That was one of my dream-birthday-present.
And they all begin singing the birthday song.
SO SWEET!!!
and it was given by my best friend YUTING.
oh ya and she was there. another WHITE LIAR xDDD
Cherie liw and Monica wasn't there yet, but they heard the whole thing
since cherie lian was on the line with them.
And 2 black faces arrived and i was like, why man.
haha. i will have to explain this part at the end. so read on.
they smiled here because they got to take a picture. behind the lens, their face returned black.
Towards the end, people from other table came over and they said they had to do forfeit.
And they sang a birthday song for me.
But they were really sincere and sweet too.
And i actually booked a table at new york new york at City link mall.
i made changes thrice that day. Yet, under this cover, there was someone who tried cancelling my booking.
They called them secretly. So they were suggesting to change to a later time since a few of them need to head to town to get some stuff. Oh well.
We took a bus to town, with my extra HUGE Holy Cow. Collecting stares from passer-bys.
i guess my HOLY COW is just drop dead gorgeous.

So we head to Heeren and we split up and agreed to meet up after 45minutes.
Many passer-bys stared at the balloon and many recited "HOLY COW" LOUD...
45minutes later, i was in the toilet and i was being hurried by one of them, saying the rest are leaving.
she led me to NYDC and walk deep in, the whole group of them was seated. And they were like "SURPRISE".
BEING RETARDED, I said " Hey, why u all sit here, we are suppose to be at New york New York. i book the table already." And yuting was like " we cancel already". BLABLABLA and she explain the whole complicated process.

After desserts, my birthday cake came. Was a surprise too.
Swensen Black forest ice cream cake. Was huge and my thoughtful friends actually wanted to get
my fav chocloate banana from secret recipe but it was out of stocks.
Nevertheless, they are just so sweet la!
Wendi even brought the cake to NYDC early that morning to put it there.
And the birthday tune reigned supreme.

However since my cake is branded swensens and we are in wrong place.
We couldn't eat our cake there.
And I was brought to a another place. It was planned too.
My favourite haunt, Dempsey Hill !!
Damn, this is good.
A caucasian guy was like saying, " wow, i like your cow."
and you know what joanne said?
she said " the cow likes you too" HAHAHAHA,
That was seriously the joke for that day, at least to me =DDDDDDD
And we sat down and ate the cake.
And they brought sparklers!!!!!!
the day ended off with surprises after surprises. thanks buddies.
though we couldn't hang till the actual day, but it was really gd enough.
they called me at 12am too. with some of them in the bus with me.
so my 1st moment of 18th january 2009 was with some of them in bus 106.
HAHA.
The day did not end there too.
Liw accompanied me to mac to have Hot chocolate.
And my bro fetch us home. And what happen next. she got off the car and msged me.
"THE GAME IS NOT OVER YET"
thinking, i asked my bro and he was like giving a "duno" face.
But in actual fact he knew.
I reached my room and there i saw a HUGE YELLOW GIRAFFE LAMP
placed right beside my bed. With the switch all plucked in by them. And there on the Giraffe's neck hangs this awesome card.
OMG. i was really touched and i did cry. Because i could really feel the friendship and warmth.
All my close friends would have known I have a fetish for giraffe and what's more.
I saw this giraffe lamp with some of my friends the other time and i joked about them giving to me.
but that was long long time ago but they remembered. and it was in my favourite yellow.
They even named it Raffy Leong Xiao Liang.
Adding on to my Leong's collection of toys and dog. They even remember to name it before i do.
So cool.
And remember i said monica and liw's face was so black. Liw told me after holding it to herself
for the whole day because she can't say.
Monica and her was waiting at my house's bus stop, waiting for me to leave the house so they can
bring the giraffe to my hse.
They collaborated with lian and i think they waited for an hour or two.
and she was angry because the rest didn't waited for them to sing the 1st bdae song.
HAHAH.
And the other best friend Lian gave me a chanel lipgloss. My 1st gift after 7 years. hahahaha.
